Earlier today I was going to give a webcast presentation for PFUR: People's Friendship University of Russia in Moscow. A mix up with the time on my part together with a glitchy Internet connection at the other end (I wasn't heard and other presenters were not understood at all) prevented me from doing the presentation. It wasn't my first frustrating experience. Unfortunately, technology has these things that I call "tantrums".
When tech glitches happen, the first thing to do is to stay calm and try a plan B. I tried a different vClassroom platform, but my ppt wouldn't upload. I guess it just wasn't meant to be.
When nothing else works, the next best thing is to upload the presentation somewhere. That's what I did. At once. And sent the link to my friend Natalie, who will share it with colleagues and foreign presenters.
E-publishing in Education was the topic and I'd carefully prepared a short Powerpoint. This a topic that has fascinated me in the last year, so I'd love to share it with our readers.
